I was looking through my notebook and I found some stuff that I wrote... it's a commentary on the overabundance dull "thug" personae and unoriginal accounts of criminal activities in current hip-hop music.


Gun talk and drug punch-lines are limitless
-- my Uzi clip does ninja flips, I push rocks like Sisyphus --
But rap like that lacks benefits;
it's planting seeds of ignorance and you reap what you sow.
So read a book,
write a paper,
learn to paint,
do something major,
trite clichés are not your savior;
There's so much more to KNOW!
